Melon Kiwi Smoothie: Who doesn’t love smoothies. Specially when its hot summer out there and you have a chilled glass of fresh fruit smoothie in your hand. I love milkshakes and often try different versions depending on availability of fruits in market.
Today I did one such experiment with fresh melons and kiwis. Both are my favorite fruits. I love the sweetness of melons. The other day I bought a great deal of melons from one of local grocery store. Often you’ll find them on discounted price. If the melon is too ripe they usually gets cheaper. But these riper melons are great for smoothie.
The taste of melons along with kiwi was surprisingly amazing. The sourness of kiwis add great flavor to sweet melons and the combination is great. If you like your milkshake slight sweet add a tablespoon of honey. Personally I don’t like to add sugar in milkshakes. Often I don’t add any sweetness in milkshakes, just the sweetness of fruit itself. But today I added a tablespoon of honey.
