Tinora Sambharo - A traditional Gujarati side dish made from Ivy gourd (Tindora) and served with chappatis
  • Tindora: 1 cup (150 grams), diced or sliced
  • Green chili: 1 tsp, sliced
  • Mustard seeds (rai): 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida (hing): 1/4 tsp
  • Oil: 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  1. Heat the oil in pan and put mustard seeds and let it crackle
  2. Add asafoetida (hing) once the mustards starts crackling.
  3. Then add tindora/giloda and green chili to it and add turmeric powder. Stir it.
  4. Let it cook for a min and add salt to taste.
