Learn how to make soft, fluffy and moist pure eggless banana bread from scratch.
  • Plain flour (Maida) : 1 1/3 cup
  • Banana : 3 medium very rippen
  • Butter : 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar : 3/4 cup
  • Baking powder : 1 1/2 tsp
  • Baking soda : 1/2 tsp
  • Milk : 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla extract : 1/2 tsp
  • Salt : 1/4 tsp (optional)
  1. In a mixing bowl take all the dry ingredients such as plain flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  2. With the help of hand whisker or a spoon, mix everything well and keep aside.
  3. In another large bowl take butter and whisk with the help of electric whisker.
  4. Add brown sugar into the butter and again whisk the mixture.
  5. Now add vanilla extract and milk and again whisk with the help of electric whisker.
  6. Finally add the mashed ripen banana into the mixture and give a quick whisk.
  7. Now add the plain flour dry mixture into the banana mixture. Mix the plain flour and banana mixture in two batches so that all the ingredients gets mixed well. Our bread batter is ready.
  8. Now grease the baking tray with oil and line it with the butter paper.
  9. Pour the batter in the baking tin.
  10. Pre-heat the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes and then bake the bread at 375°F (190°C) for about 40 minutes or till a toothpick inserted in bread comes out clean.
  11. Once bread is warm, remove the bread from baking tin and place it on the cooling rack so that bread stops cooking and cools down from all sides.
  12. Once the bread completely cools down, cut into slices.
  13. Eggless banana bread is ready to serve.
Store the bread by wrapping it in plastic wrap and keep refrigerator. While serving, you can warm up the bread in microwave.
