Jeera Rice Recipe: Easy to make restaurant style Jeera rice recipe with cumin, cloves and cinnamon. Jeera rice goes really well with Dal fry or dal tadka.
  • Rice:1 cup (basmati rice)
  • Cumin seeds (jeera): 1 tbsp
  • Clarified butter (ghee):1 tbsp
  • Cloves (laung): 2 piece
  • Cinnamon stick (dalchini): 1/2 inch stick
  • Water: 2 cup
  • Salt: 1 tsp or to taste
  1. Wash the basmati rice thoroughly and add 2 cup of water. Keep aside for some time.
  2. In a tadka pan add the clarified butter(ghee) then add cloves, cinnamon stick and cumin seeds (jeera) and let it. crackle.
  3. Once the jeera crackle put the tadka in the rice filled with water and stir it.
  4. Cook the rice for about 20 min.
  5. Now the easy tasty Jeera Rice is ready to serve.
